Through its financial aid program, the University of Virginia strives to remove barriers to attending ������ϲ����������� so students can make the most of their college experience and be well positioned for the future.

We help talented students pursue their dreams. Students who are academically successful and demonstrate the potential to contribute to ������ϲ�����������’s vibrant intellectual community are offered admission, regardless of their financial situation or ability to pay.

• We meet 100% of financial need. ������ϲ����������� meets the demonstrated financial need for all in-state and out-of-state students applying by the annual March 1 deadline. This is achieved through a combination of scholarships, grants, work-study and need-based loans.
• Tuition assistance for Virginia households.
  • ������ϲ����������� will cover the cost of tuition, fees, room, and board for in-state undergraduates with family income of less than $50K.
  • ������ϲ����������� will cover the cost of tuition and fees to in-state undergraduates with family income of less than $100K.
  • ������ϲ����������� provides tuition grants of $2,000 to Virginia families with income less than $150,000.
• Manageable loans. ������ϲ����������� is committed to limiting need-based loans for students with financial need, so they graduate with less debt.
